Grading Definitions
| GRADE 10+ | An exceptional point. One of the best of its type and quality in existence. They will show perfection in thinness, flaking, material, symmetry as well as form and will be the best you could ever expect to see for any given type. This grade is extremely rare and is seldom ever offered for sale. Note: This point type is so rare and made with such perfection that even a minor nick may not keep them out of this category. |
| GRADE 10 | A top quality point for its type. Flaking, material, symmetry and form must be at a top level. It applies to any given point for its type regardless of size. This is a very difficult grade to obtain and collect. |
| GRADE 8 OR 9 | May lack a little in material, symmetry, form or may have minimal damage in more than one place. Most quality point in any given type will fall into this category and are still hard to find. |
| GRADE 6 OR 7 | These points are better than average. Faking, size and symmetry are still slightly above the average but material or more serious damage may hold them back from a higher grade. |
| GRADE 4 OR 5 | Average size, material and form for any given point in its type. This grade may apply to a higher quality point with considerable damage. |
| GRADE 1 - 3 | Field grade points that are overly thick, poorly balanced or a higher quality points that has sever damage fall into this category. |
